Bullock took part in a construction awareness event at Laisterdyke Business and Enterprise College in partnership with Bradford youthbuild and other constructors, the event was aimed at 75 secondary school Pupils aged 13 -17 who were considering construction as a career opportunity.
The objective of this event was to inform young people of the diverse range of careers available to them in the industry. This took the form of employer talks from Bullock and Wates and an employer’s hot seat held by the CITB, Links2, Lovell and Bradford College. The young people were able to rotate round the various organisations to discuss the work and potential opportunities.
The event was well received by all those who attended, some sixth form (yr 12) students also attended whilst away from college on study leave.
