Knowsley Housing Trust

Off-site pre-assembly has been used to achieve completion of over forty bathrooms per week using only three CORGI registered plumbers. The component parts are pre-assembled by semi-skilled operatives in a separate workshop area prior to delivery and installation in the home. The registered plumbers then only had to make the final connections.

This innovative approach enabled us to overcome a chronic shortage of skilled tradesmen in this area.
